DaVita HealthCare Partners Hosts Inaugural Villagewide Meeting to Celebrate, Educate and Give Back to the Community

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 24, 2013-- DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. (NYSE: DVA) today announced that the company will honor more than 4,000 DaVita® teammates and HealthCare Partners® leaders from around the world at its inaugural DaVita HealthCare Partners® “Villagewide” meeting in downtown Denver.

Villagewide will celebrate, in part, DaVita’s move to the Mile High City in 2010, completion of its new headquarters building and merger with HealthCare Partners Holdings, LLC, in 2012. From April 24 to 27, DaVita HealthCare Partners will recognize teammates for their outstanding care for patients, each other and the world.

Thousands of teammates from three continents will fly into Denver International Airport and make a significant economic impact on Denver hotels, restaurants and retail stores. Teammates will travel from the Netherlands, India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, China, Singapore, Poland and across the U.S.

The Villagewide meeting by the numbers:

• About 4,000 teammates
• 1,288 cities
• 49 states
• Nine countries
• 14 hotels
• 2,852 hotel rooms
• More than 12,000 hotel room nights

At the end of the week, teammates will also participate in one of DaVita HealthCare Partners’ largest community service projects (known internally as Village Service Days) ever.
