Must have current TN RN license and current dialysis experience.   

Description:

• Perform assessments of patient before dialysis treatment. • Initiate, monitor and terminate patient's dialysis treatment. • Monitor patients and equipment alarms during treatment.• Skillful performance of venipuncture.• Transcribe and implement physician's orders.            • Documents appropriate information in the medical record per Federal, State, and DSI requirements. • Assist in the training of new staff members.• Participate in staff meetings and in-service programs. • Administer blood and blood products and be knowledgeable of what to do in the event of a reaction.• Practice and teach aseptic technique to patients and other staff members. • Participate in Interdisciplinary team assessments and care planning of patients.
