Job Description: 
Area Biomedical Supervisor
 
("ABS") is responsible for the overall management of the Area's biomedical team, including overseeing the Area's Dialysis biomedical costs, quality and teammates, as well as Denovo and facility projects.

  • Applicants must have at least 3 years dialysis biomed experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
  •  Equipment Maintenance, Repair, Upgrades & Operation 
  • Financial Management 
  • Quality, Compliance and Risk Management 
  • Lead Teams, Manage Communications 
  • Leadership for New Initiatives, Processes, Technology and Equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required):
 
Job-Specific Skills
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Two years' education in electronics strongly preferred.
  3. Minimum of 3 years experience providing repair and maintenance service to dialysis facilities required.
  4. Minimum of 2 years experience supervising biomedical service teams preferred.
  5. Manufacturer's certification for equipment that is predominantly used in the Area strongly preferred for each of the following: (a) dialysis machines, (b) reuse equipment, and (c) facility water systems.
  6. Valid driver's license in state of employment. Driving record must meet insurance liability requirements.
  7. Ability to pass color-vision acuity test.
  8. Strong business and organizational skills: Proficiency with identifying, defining and resolving problems; developing systemic solutions.
