Dialysis Registered Nurse- Full Time, 36 hours per week, Set Schedule, No On Call Duties: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients receiving dialysis treatments in a chronic setting. Coordinates and evaluates care delivered by unlicensed, certified and licensed LPNs working under his/her direction. The RN is responsible for maintaining high standards in clinical practice/continuum of care, professional practice development, teamwork, customer relations and research/performance improvement for patients as described by scopes of care in area of practice. The Dialysis Nurse is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures Qualifications: Education: Graduate of approved school of Nursing required. Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License Certification: Achieves and maintains CPR (BLS) Experience: Minimum 6 Months of Outpatient Hemodialysis experience.
