Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities: •Provide nursing care to the ESRD patients •Perform patient assessments, evaluate data and intervene as appropriate •Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments of patients with permanent fistulas or grafts, or catheters, if approved by state agencies •Administer medications per physician orders •Collect patient data including status of vascular accesses, lab work, patient assessments and report changes to RN and Center Director •Participate in the care center's QA/CQI process •Perform all duties assigned to the patient care technician Requirements: Education: Current license for LPN/PVN in state of practice; lV certified if state required; successful completion of RAI's Hemodialysis training program and/or successful passage of RAI's competency checklist and Hemodialysis.
