Description Fresenius Medical Care is committed to continually improving the clinical outcomes experienced by our patients and assuring compliance by our facilities to federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) contributes to the achievement of these objectives by leading and directing the regional quality team. The RQM provides, directly or indirectly, regional educational programs to facilitate the improvement of clinical outcomes; coordinates regulatory and clinical audits; promotes utilization of continuous quality improvement (CQI) principals; and responds to, investigates and initiates resolution of clinical and regulatory inquiries initiated by Regional VP's of Quality and Operations, Regional Managers and the Corporate Dialysis Quality Management Department (CDQMD). Requirements R.N Required. Bachelor's degree preferred. At least two years clinical management experience in dialysis (e.g., DON, Clinic Manager, Administrator, Area In-service Coordinator, Charge Nurse) proceeded by 3-5 years as Hemodialysis nurse. Strong organizational, verbal and written communications skills. Maturity and tact essential. Good understanding of the relationship between providers of health care services and regulatory agencies. Experience in teaching/consulting and in complex organizations (with Corporate Regional, Area and Local management) preferred.
