This position is responsible for general office and secretarial duties for the Vice President of Quality. Performs general office duties, which include answering and directing phone calls, sorting and distributing mail, Xeroxing and filing. Performs secretarial duties, which include typing, correspondence and reports. Completes forms and reports. Maintains filing system. Maintains inventory of office forms and supplies. Prepares purchase orders and manages resulting accounts payables. Logs and maintains other records of various write-off packages. Prepares collection agency packages and forwards them as appropriate. Maintains personnel records of staff, prepares forms for personnel changes. Schedules appointments and arranges meetings and conferences, including meals as necessary. Makes travel arrangements through Corporate Travel. Prepares associated expense reports. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Quality Department: Assistant to Vice President of Quality Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Secretarial or Business School training preferred Experience: 2 to 5 years related experience. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize, work independently and be able to adapt to a changing environment. Knowledge of computer software such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access Preferred: Advanced computer skills including: Sharepoint and use of Visual Basic |
