Summary: The Regional Equipment Specialist (RES) is primarily responsible for performing installation; service and maintenance work on Fresenius manufactured/distributed equipment products within their multi-state region. It may necessary to provide cross-coverage to other service regions within the U.S. in order to meet business needs. The RES must abide by all service procedures, instructions and company policies intended to meet regulatory, health/safety, and compliance guidelines. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform all equipment installation / service / maintenance in accordance with policies and procedures in clinics and hospitals. Maintain a spare parts inventory in accordance with management recommendations. Accountable for the use and dispersal of the spare parts inventory in his or her possession. Responsible for the completion of all service documentation and call closures within the service management system as per instruction/procedure. Return paperwork and warranty replacement parts on a weekly basis. Required to participate in the regional weekend call rotation. May be required to provide technical in-services to customers and/or co-workers. Obtain assistan Requirements A.A. degree in Electronics or equivalent experience. Continuing education and training to prepare for and pass an annual recertification exam. Experience in dialysis or a hospital setting preferred.
