Description As key technical delivery resource, lead a team and contribute individually to the detailed design, planning, construction, deployment and support of technical components which integrate eCube applications. Ensure that technical solutions are designed and implemented which forward the integration architectural, scalability and technical standards/objectives. Directly supervise integration developers and work with Business Analysts, Architects, DBAs and other technical groups to delivery high-quality integrations solutions on time. Responsible for the development of technical specifications, release coordination and technical resource coordination for specific integration efforts. Coordinates the work efforts of up to 7 developers. nderstand and internalize the project mission and associated company objectives for the effort. Transform business-oriented functional specifications into detailed technical specifications. Diagram technical decompositions, describe technical process and data components, and designs exception handling and controls. Participate in functional design reviews and lead technical design reviews. Assign, coordinate, control and review work deliverables for developers. Evaluate and estimate change orders. Ensure software flexibility, scalability and reuse. Work with colleagues to promote best practices and standards in software design and development. Leads developers in unit and string testing. Support system integration and quality assurance testing. Accountable for deliverable quality. Provides technical guidance and mentoring to developers for both integrations techniques and tools. Work collaboratively with internal integrations groups such as Business Analysis, Architecture, Tool Administration and DBA to deliver high-value solutions that conform to all requirements. Work collaboratively with external IT groups such as Operations, Help Desk and Applications to successfully implement solutions into the environment. Meet different Administration team's expectations or Service Level Agreements. Provide integrations tool/product expertise related to design, development, testing and deployment. For a specific project assignment this role will include: Working with business analysts to identify business requirements; Participate in functional specifications reviews; Design of the project or project track technical solution collaboratively or independently; Define individual technical solution components; Document the design, approach and components in technical specification documents; Assign individual tasks/components to the technical team developers; Provide technical team developers with direction on day-to-day activities; Conduct technical code reviews; Provide project related status reporting and documentation; Coordinate all release planning; Lead the development team through all project phases; Maintains software versions in version control tool. Maintains an in-depth understanding of company/division technical strategy and direction in order to deliver consistency, maintainability, reuse and quality balanced against delivery deadlines. Requirements Bachelor's degree in IS, computer science or related field preferred. Minimum 8 years IT development experience. Experience managing teams consisting of 4 or more technical developers. 'Up-through-the-development-ranks' background. Four-plus years of experience with the Informatica suite, comprised of PowerCenter Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Meta Data Manager. Four years expereince with eGate. Very strong relational database development experience - especially Oracle (PLSQL, packages, procedures, tuning) and secondarily MS SQLServer, MS Access. Experience writing and executing UNIX shell scripts and managing job scheduling. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle and methodologies spanning development, testing, release and deployment management. Author technical specifications, designs and diagrams. Strong technical development and relational platform design experience - especially with systems integration and interface development. Ability to determine tradeoffs, estimates and overall technical approaches. Ability to work effectively with people from peer IT organizations. Health Care development experience preferred. Good communication and writing skills.
