Full Time, Part Time and Contingent Positions Available. Multiple positions available at various locations in the region, the Detroit Metropolitan Area and suburbs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop plans of care on patient admission and throughout course of dialysis therapies.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team initiatives.
- Evaluates effectiveness of care provided to maintenance dialysis patients. - Coordinates referrals to vasculat access and transplant programs.
- Acts in the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan and/or Ohio.
- At least 6 months experience as a RN, including at least 3 months of experience providing nursing care to maintenance dialysis patients prior to assuming charge role.
- 1 year Medical-Surgical ,ER or ICU expericence preferred.
- Previous dialysis experience highly desireable.
