- High School Diploma/ GED - ~CB~ Charge Master Specialist- RenaLab
Job Responsibilities:
· Creates, updates, and maintains insurer set-up tables in the Patient Accounting System (QMS) · Ensures all insurance payors have the correct rate groups (pricing) and bill templates attached per the fee schedule and payor requirements · Coordinated with Manager of Billing, Manager of Collections, and the Managed Care team regarding new plans, pricing, and other set-up table issues. · · Researches websites for Medicare and Medicaid programs to ensure fee schedules are updated with current information
Requirements:
Experience : 5 years of healthcare business office experience (dialysis experience a plus), knowledge of healthcare bill codes (HCPCS, CPT, etc.), and ability to interpret third party payor contracts
