DSI has an opening for a full time dialysis technician in Birmingham, AL. The technician will work closely with the RN and is responsible for initiating, monitoring and discontinuation of dialysis treatment, monitoring vital signs, both pre and post-dialysis, observation of physical condition, status of vascular access and documentation of patient flow sheets. "Enhancing Life through Teamwork, Technology, Innovationa and Research" Requirements High School diploma or GED. Must have previous clinical healthcare experience. Dialysis experience preferred. If more than 18 months experience, certification is required. Must be willing to get certification within 18 months of hire if no previous experience. |
