Full time position.Presents the vision and mission of DSI by educating and supporting Referral Sources, Discharge Planners, DSI Facilities and other Dialysis Professionals in order to increase referral patterns and admissions to DSI clinics. Meet with and educate all Discharge Planners and/or Referral Sources in designated market on a regular basis (monthly). This includes meetings, calls, and letters. Identify all potential customers and create working relationships with them educating each customer on DSI’s services and treatment modalities. Monitor clinic census within your region including weekly analysis of patient availability (dialysis chairs) at each dialysis clinic and work with management team to develop growth strategy for clinics with a low census or declining admission trends. Maintain a working knowledge of all State and Federal requirements for dialysis admissions. Proficiency in DSI’s computer systems. Requires significant travel throughout assigned markets including overnight travel. Associate Degree preferred. Minimum of 6 months experience in patient registration in hospital or medical setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, various health insurance programs and medical insurance industry required. Excellent computer skills to include the internet, Outlook, Excel and Word. Job requires research and exceptional organizational skills to manage a large patient load.
